Recharter 2013 Begins on October 14 and Ends on December 2, 2013

Posted on Nov 26 2013 - 6:28pm

Recharter is an annual activity to renew your membership in the Boy Scouts of America and Troop 660.  This year we will begin the recharter process on October 14th and close it out on December 2nd.   This means all payments need must be submitted to Mr. Alcaino by November 25th.  To recharter it is important to remember that the Troop bylaws require at least one parent or guardian to be registered with the Boy Scouts.  All registered parents, guardians and adults are required to have current Youth Protection Training and Troop Committee Challenge Training course completion records on file with our Training Chair Mr. Matsunaga.  New parents and registered adults must also have a live scan background check on file with the Catholic Dioceses of Orange (see Mr. Alcaino for details if you have not done this yet).  All of these requirements help to keep our boys safe, organization strong and maintain compliance with our chartering organization.
